16' Back wall composed of lightweight extruded aluminum frame structure in square grid pattern to emphasize company name and branding and to support large format graphics. Circular layout to "capture" audience and direct to the center of the exhibit by creating a core environment for activities such as video presentation, book signing, etc. Canopy structures provide aesthetic quality while visually linking separate functional areas and providing a way to control booth lighting. Music in D | A New Solution
This month we are featuring a terrific solution developed by Rajiv Kapur of Configurations, one of our Florida distributors. The exhibit was built for Ross Marketing Group (President: Michael Curtin) whose client, Ford, wanted an exhibit to use to launch their new Fusion model and reach primarily women in malls.
Project Background
Ford wanted to promote their new introduction of the Ford Fusion. They were looking to brand and appeal to a certain target audience of women and enhance their test drive program. Ford also is a sponsor for the "Run for the Cure" program and wanted to work the relationship into the program. Ross marketing our client was asked to develop a mall program. We were brought in to design a traveling show that would be used in malls to promote the branding as well as the test drive program that was going to be going on concurrently in the mall parking lots.
Design Brief
The exhibit environment needed to appeal to women who were in the target range and profile. It needed to be very modular and re-configurable to be able to conform to various venues and needs. It needed to be lightweight with a quick set up time as the installations had to take place between 10.00pm and 5.00am to meet mall rules. The exhibit was divided into three sections. One section was for make overs, another section promoted fitness and the third section interacted with the audience allowing them to download music. The three sections were designed to create a relationship with the target audience and Ford and it's sponsorship with the Cure for Life program. Through the relationship building, the intent was to also sign up and promote the test drive program that was taking place concurrently outside in the parking lot. The program has been a great success. We have been able to about double the test drive numbers from their past test drive programs.
Configurations designed the exhibit using components of the Abex Fusion exhibit system to meet the criteria of the program. We felt that the building blocks of the system allowed us to design and customize the environment to meet the clients needs.
