Thank you for judging the 2013 Mod Awards! We are now five weeks out and the event is already shaping up to be our best Mod yet. We are steadily outpacing visitor registration over last year and are receiving more and more exhibit submissions to the contest daily. We recently added a fourth Mod event, the E2MA Breakfast (details below) with special guests from HP and Medtronic.
We wanted to take a moment to update you on the latest MOD developments, so please read the following as it contains some important information regarding event times and instructions on the voting procedure.
The Mod Awards is broken down into four events over two days. Please pay special attention to the MOMA event, as it is where the judging will take place.

MOMA – The Museum of Modular Art – Judges & Sponsor Cocktail Party and Entry Judging

The MOMA event will take place at The Four Seasons main ballrooms pre-function room

on Monday, March 18th from 5:00PM-6:30PM

The Judges’ and sponsors’ reception is where you, the judges, will select the winners in 17 categories of system modular and custom modular exhibit design. This event will feature a gallery setting with the images and descriptions of the three finalists in each category. You will be provided with a ballot to judge the entries and we will tally the votes before the MOD Awards event Tuesday evening. Judges attendance is mandatory for this event. The winners, including the prestigious Best of MOD, will be announced at The 2013 MOD awards ceremony, Tuesday, March 19.

The 2013 MOD Awards sponsor trade show and awards ceremony will be held Tuesday, March 19th from 5:00PM – 8:30PM at The Four Seasons Hotel at Mandalay Bay.
Red Carpet reception (cocktail attire requested) and Awards Gala hosted by Leeza Gibbons and catered by The Four Seasons to acknowledge the best in modular exhibit design from around the world.
The MOD Awards will showcase leading designers and producers of system and custom modular exhibits, presenting awards in eighteen categories. Three finalists in each category will be chosen by MOD fans everywhere by popular vote. The Winner in each category will be selected by our judges at MOMA. The category winner with the greatest number of popular votes on modawards.com will be named Best of MOD.

Close Up—The After-Party, will be held following the MOD Awards, Tuesday, March 19th from 9:00PM – ????? in the main ballrooms at The Four Seasons Hotel at Mandalay Bay.
After the MOD Awards, all eyes will be on Close-Up, the After Party. Bring your dance shoes, meet, network, and party with all the winners and the leaders in our industry. Tickets are free. Reservations for the after party can be made online at the following link:

Mod Award Contest Entries
We are receiving entries daily; obviously we would like to receive as many as possible by the March 10 deadline. The more entries we receive, the greater the exposure for MOD. This is why it is crucial that you send the latest Call for Entries and Save the Date/Register for the MOD Awards emails to your customers. Room Block Sold Out!!
Demand for rooms has exceeded our expectations and we have already sold out our room block! Event registration has been filling up quickly for the Mod Awards Gala, so if there are any people you would like to have attend the awards, please be sure to advise them to submit their ticket request as soon as possible. Also, if you have not yet registered to attend, please do so as soon as possible.

Please note: While your attendance at MOMA is necessary, it is not mandatory to attend the other events, but we certainly encourage you to take part in all the festivities! As we approach the event, we will continue sending periodic updates apprising you of the latest Mod Awards news.
